What is Relay For Life?
Relay For Life is a unique, fun way to increase cancer awareness in the community while raising much-needed funds for the American Cancer Society's fight against cancer.

Join the team fighting cancer by taking part in the Relay For Life.  You and at least ten of your friends, family and co-workers can form a Relay For Life team and make a difference in the lives of so many.  Team members take turns walking or running around the track and have fun during this celebration of cancer survivorship.

Relay Highlights:

A special Luminaria Ceremony will begin after dark on May 19th. Luminaria bags may be purchased in honor or memory of a loved one for a $10 donation before the ceremony.

A pre-Relay event will be held at the Cordova Elementary School Field Day. Details to be announced.

Pre-registration deadline: April 30, 2006.

Team captain and committee meetings will be announced. Check back frequently for dates and locations.



Relay will go on in the event of rain. In case of storms, we will wait inside the gymnasium until the storm passes and the resume activities outdoors.
