This contemporary play introduces us to a family of four trying to cope with the challenges of maintaining their farm in rural Minnesota. Their everyday experience is continually threatened as the pressures of their situation bind. But, they persevere. The Olsons will give all families hope as they face adversity and uncertainty with humor, warmth, tenacity and trust in one another. Deb loves Seventeen, wears too much make-up (or so her mom thinks), but wants to live on the farm forever. Scott's a basketball star (all the girls think he's sooooo cute). Mom and Dan are fighting hard to hang onto the land that has been in the family for generations.
